Summer 2009 is here!
Our 2009 season is anchored by our signature production of The Sound of Music high above Leavenworth at the spectacular Ski Hill Amphitheater. Singin’ in the Rain and Pirates of Penzance round out a highly anticipated summer of theater in Leavenworth. Click on the show titles above! See you soon!
Is this the most popular production in Washington State history? The Sound of Music now enters its 15th consecutive season! The sun falls behind the ridge, the moon rises over the valley, and Maria descends the hillside—literally—singing the title song. A Bavarian Village classic!
How about a very special July 4th this year at the Ski Hill with the von Trapp family? The Captain and Maria would love to have you celebrate with them!
Singin’ in the Rain. The romantic musical comedy is set in the days of Hollywood’s transformation from the silent era to the advent of the talkies. It’s a singing, dancing spectacular with a hit parade score of Hollywood standards, all topped off with spirited tap dancing and the famous rain scene. Don’t miss it!
Pirates of Penzance. Swashbuckling pirates, bumbling bobbies, a bevy of beautiful maidens, and a comical modern major general entertain us on stage with this delightful musical comedy featuring lilting melodies and clever patter songs in the best British tradition. Downtown, indoors at the FestHalle.
