Seventy-six trombones, a shipoopi or two, and some trouble in River City are all headed this way as we bring Meredith Willson’s hilarious Golden Age classic to life out under the stars at the Fish Hatchery Amphitheater.
Charming “professor” Harold Hill – a suave, debonair, fast-talking traveling salesman – rolls into a quiet Iowa town and causes all sorts of ruckus involving a marching band, an elaborate con or two, and a plan to skip town with the cash before the stubborn townspeople know what hit them. But he meets his match in the studious, no nonsense, and absolutely beautiful town librarian, Marian Paroo, and suddenly all bets are off!
The Music Man is family entertainment at its very best with jokes coming a mile-a-minute, gorgeous music, and a cast of hilarious characters who will make this an evening not to be missed!
