Hiring: Facility Manager for Leavenworth Summer Theater

Duties include set-up, maintenance and repair of our theater performance sites.  Must be physically able to lift 40+ pounds, work on ladders up to 12 feet high and extension ladders up to 24’.  Good organizational and follow-up skills a must.  This position requires a positive attitude, the ability to remain calm under stress, and a detail-oriented team player with strong work ethic who takes pride in their work.

Requires a valid drivers license with good driving record.  No more than one ticket or accident in the last three years.  No major violations (reckless driving, DWI, etc.) in the last 10 years.

Passenger commercial license preferred. If not, the ability to obtain one before July 1. The Facility Manager drives the LST handicapped accessible van at the Ski Hill to transport patrons to and from the seating area.  Good customer service skills a must for the van and interactions with our audience. High personal hygiene standards.

Year-round position however over 80% of the hours are during the summer, before and during the performance season (May to mid-September). Includes on site evenings and weekend coverage of all performances in July and August up through Labor Day.  Significantly less, occasional and very flexible hours other times of the year including special projects at the performance sites plus set up for auditions one week each year. Majority of salary paid monthly May – September with balance paid monthly over the rest of the year. Base salary: $18,000.  Position starts mid-April 2018 for training.
