No, we don’t maintain a waiting list because all sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges on tickets once they are purchased. Will call tickets are prepaid and will be held at the gate for their purchasers.

Do you offer Group Tickets?
A group consists of 20 or more people attending the same performance.  LST provides one complimentary ticket for a group of 20, and two complimentary tickets for a group of 40 or more.  Two complimentary tickets is the maximum provided to any group.  Group seating begins in row 10.

Group reservations may be made starting February 1 through the third week in May, and again one week after the summer box office opens in June of each year, by calling 509.548.2000.  LST requires a 50% deposit by Visa or MasterCard, plus a $20 transaction fee for the initial reservation.  Seating reservations are not made until the deposit is received.  There will be a $15 transaction fee for each additional change to your reservation.
If an order is cancelled before six weeks prior to the performance date, the deposit is returned, less a $35 cancellation fee, and all other accumulated transaction fees. If a cancellation notice is not received by that date, the balance due will be charged to the credit card.  No refunds, changes, or cancellations may be made within six weeks of the performance date, or after tickets are issued.

Cancellation dates are slightly different for the Christmas show.  Call the box office for a Christmas show policy sheet and further information.

If you have questions or need further information, please contact the box office at 509.548.2000.

Tell me a brief history of the theater.
Leavenworth Summer Theater began as the vision of John and Susan Wagner and Bill Weis in 1994. That opening season was hampered by devastating fires in the Leavenworth area in addition to the normal first year struggles, and the theater suffered severe financial losses. The Wagners decided to give it one more try in the summer of 1995 with a production of The Sound of Music. A great cast, a terrific outdoor location, and the natural compatibility of the show with Leavenworth's Bavarian theme created a sensationally successful production. Today, Leavenworth Summer Theater is the largest theater between Seattle and Spokane, with more than 20,000 people expected for this year's productions.

What’s the weather like?
Summer is usually dry in Leavenworth, and rainouts are rare. Many people travel great distances to see our shows, so we will plan to go on with the show whenever possible. If conditions should cause us to cancel a show before intermission, you may call the box office and a refund check will be mailed to you within six weeks. Refunds will not be available on site. In any event, it is wise to bring a warm jacket and cap, as the dry mountain air cools rapidly after sunset. Umbrellas are not permitted since they block the view of other guests.

How far is it from Seattle?
It’s usually a 2 to 2 1/2 hour drive depending on traffic. You should allow at least an extra hour in case of road construction delays. Late arrivals are seated at the back of the theater. To avoid any problem, come early and enjoy the Leavenworth area, downtown shopping and restaurants.

Where can I find lodging?
Visit the Leavenworth Chamber of Commerce web site for information, phone numbers and links to lodging sites on the Internet.

May I donate my tickets?
Yes. If you cannot attend your performance and do not wish to give your tickets to friends or family, your tickets may be donated for tax credit. Simply return your tickets in person or by mail to the Ticket Office before the scheduled performance and the box office will give you a receipt for the tickets.
