Family Guide

As a parent, you are the only person qualified to determine what is appropriate for your child. The following information is provided to help you make the decision that is right for you and your family:
Violence:  There are two scenes of obviously staged bar-room brawls of a comic nature with actors throwing punches, taking falls, and exchanging gunfire (blanks) from pistols.  One actor threatens another with a pistol at two other points during the show.

Alcohol:  “Whiskey” is drunk during the saloon scenes.  Two characters perform a comic mistaken identity scene as a result of becoming very drunk.  There are no others drugs or tobacco.

Language:  There is no blasphemy in this show.  One character says “hell” at one point.  There is no other mild profanity.

Mature themes:  There is no nudity, partial nudity, or overt sexuality in this show.  There are Follies girls wearing1930’s-era form-fitting costumes; not sexy in the modern sense of the word.  There is one moderately seductive song and dance number, and during the song an actress says the line “I was at the top of my class…All the boys were below me,” but the double-entendre will probably be lost on most children.
